Cowrie ads started popping up for me early in my pregnancy. After giving birth, I used the regular nursing covers I had left from my first child and was reminded of how inconvenient they were. So I finally decided to order Cowrie.
It’s honestly brilliant - super convenient, beautiful, and functional. My baby doesn’t get stuffy under the cover, yet it’s not see-through, and I now have a stylish accessory as well.

I have used my sand-colour cowrie for 10months now and absolutely love it, si have bought another for a friend. She is thrilled with the chocolate colour.
It has been great for feeding, pram cover, blanket for in the car, floor mat for baby at playgroup when I needed something, and I enjoy wearing it too. My little one found it super comforting too (I guess it has such great associations) and treated it like her own.

I bought a double pack for my daughter who had her first baby last week. She absolutely loves this gift and says it's the best thing she has received. It is so soft and versatile. My daughters sister-in-law has now purchased the same for her 10 month old.
We wrap our little girl in the cowries and also using it on her pram when she went on her first outing.

I was on the fence in making this purchase for a loooong time, I kept on umming and ahhrring due to high cost, not knowing which colour to pick and I wasn't sure if it was going to be what it says it would be. BUT.. I can now say that.... I LOVE IT, my baby loves it! He snuggles with it all the time, we take it everywhere. The fabric is soo soft and YES it's breathable :) If you're reading this post, and you are on the fence like I was, don't be, you won't regret it, I certainly don't!

I made this purchase with a little bit of hesitation. A cover that is breathable for bubs but still covers me and will help me to feel more confident to feed in public as a first time mum? Surely not. I was so happy to be proven wrong and this cover is perfect! I have used it a couple of times now and I'm so happy that I no longer need to try and find the closest parent room to feed my bubs! To make sure it wasn't see through, I even asked my partner to tell me if he could see anything the first time I tried it and he assured me he couldn't and was amazed as well.

My Cowrie was given as a gift and is so useful! Makes breastfeeding in public so much more comfortable. Love the colour and the versatility of the product too!
